Post-Construction Solar Panel Cleaning for Installers and Contractors

A brand-new array is rarely a clean array. Between the install crew, the roofers, the stucco and concrete work, and whatever the wind brought during the build, the glass usually needs a proper cleaning before the system is commissioned and handed over — and before anyone photographs it.

Stacey’s Cleaning Service has been doing construction cleaning in the Antelope Valley since 1994. We work as a subcontractor to solar EPCs, general contractors, roofers, and installers.

Why It Matters More Than It Sounds

Commissioning numbers. If you are testing production against a model, construction soiling makes the array look like it is underperforming. That is a conversation with the customer you do not want to have on day one.
Cement, stucco, and mortar splatter chemically bond to glass and cure hard. Removed early, most of it releases. Left through a season, it can be permanent — and then it is a damage claim instead of a cleaning line item.
Construction debris is abrasive. Anyone who dry-wipes it, or who lets a brush drag grit across the glass, scratches the anti-reflective coating. We flood the glass first, every time, so the brush never touches dry grit.
Handover appearance. The array is the most visible thing you just installed.

Insurance and documentation ready. General liability and workers’ compensation, additional insured, waiver of subrogation, and primary/non-contributory endorsements available. Certificates issued the same day they are requested.
OSHA 30-Hour certified ownership with a written safety program, fall protection training, and a site-specific job hazard analysis before work starts. We fit into your site safety plan rather than becoming a problem in it.
Prevailing wage capable. DIR registered #1001026712, with certified payroll, for public works projects.
Certifications that help your bid. MBE/WBE/SBE certified and active in SAM.gov, which matters on public and diversity-tracked contracts.
We schedule around your trades — including after-hours and weekends when the sequence requires it.

Our Method, and the Lines We Do Not Cross

Purified (deionized) water and soft nylon brushes only. No pressure washing, no chemicals, no abrasives, and nobody stands on a module. Manufacturers class high-pressure water and abrasive brushes as improper maintenance, and on a system you just warrantied, that is your exposure, not just ours.

We clean the front glass and we report what we see. We do not remove or reseat modules, adjust racking, or touch any electrical component. If we find damage — cracked glass from a dropped tool, a chewed conductor, an open enclosure — we photograph it and hand it to your superintendent the same day, before it becomes a dispute about who did it.

The Rest of Our Construction Work
